Life is Strange: Before the Storm – secrets hidden deep within the past
Do you remember Chloe Price? The best friend of the main protagonist of the LiS? We hope that you didn’t forget about her and the story of Rachel Amber. A beautiful and popular girl who went missing at the beginning of the story you know from the Life is Strange. In Before the Storm you play as Chloe Price (sixteen years old at the time) and together with Rachel Amber, you’re going to try to stop her family from destroying the world. It might sound crazy but you should already learn that in Life is Strange universe, everything is possible.
Together with Rachel, you have to stop the Amber family from destroying the entire planet. Thanks to the prequel, you will be able to learn more about Rachel Amber, Chloe Price and dark secrets behind the city of Arcadia Bay itself. You will learn about everything that happened while Max was outside the town.
Backtalk instead of time rewinding ability
Max was kind of interesting girl. She had an ability, thanks to which she was able to rewind time. Thanks to this she was able to save Chloe many times. However, Chloe does not possess such ability. Instead, she has her sharp tongue which she can use as the main weapon.
She can use her sharp tongue to get away from certain situations or to simply provoke other people to react in the way she wants them to react. Furthermore, even the outfit of Chloe is an important part of the gameplay itself. People are going to react to your clothes. Hence, you have to think about what to wear in certain situations.
In Life is Strange: Before the Storm every choice has severe consequences
The Life is Strange: Before the Storm is similar to the original game in the one, important aspect. It focuses heavily on the butterfly effect. Each decision you make (even the smallest one), might have severe consequences. One mistake and you can cause the death of one of the characters. Sometimes, even potentially good choice might have severe consequences. Remember that your decisions are going to impact the ending of the game. There are multiple endings and all of them are results of even smallest of your choices. You should keep that factor in mind.
